Day 01: Arrival in Srinagar – Local Sightseeing​
Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will assist you throughout your trip. Transfer to the hotel and check-in. After refreshing yourself, begin your exploration with visits to the iconic Mughal gardens — Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Cheshma Shahi. Continue to the Shankaracharya Temple, perched atop a hill, offering panoramic views of the city and Dal Lake. Depending on the season, you can stroll through the world-famous Tulip Garden, bursting with vibrant colors. Later, enjoy a relaxing Shikara ride on Dal Lake, gliding past floating gardens and charming houseboats. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Srinagar.
After a hearty breakfast, drive to Pahalgam, often called the ‘Valley of Shepherds.’ En route, enjoy picturesque views of saffron fields and the Lidder River. On arrival, visit Betaab Valley, known for its lush meadows and scenic beauty, which gained fame from Bollywood movies. You can also visit Chandanwari, the starting point of the Amarnath Yatra, accessible by hiring a local taxi. Spend the evening relaxing by the river or exploring local markets. After breakfast, check out and embark on a scenic drive to Daksum. En route, visit Kokernag, famous for its natural springs shaped like a hen’s claw and lush botanical gardens. Take in the fresh mountain air and serene surroundings. Continue your journey through winding forest roads, with breathtaking views of pine-covered hills and babbling streams. Reach Daksum by evening and check into your hotel. Enjoy a leisurely evening, soaking in the tranquility of this lesser- known paradise. Dinner and overnight stay in Daksum.
Start your day early with breakfast before heading towards Sinthan Top, a high-altitude mountain pass known for its breathtaking 360-degree views and year-round snow. The drive from Daksum is thrilling, with steep curves and dramatic landscapes. Once at the top, enjoy panoramic vistas of the Pir Panjal range and lush valleys below. Adventure enthusiasts can try trekking or snow activities (seasonal). After spending quality time amidst the clouds, begin your descent and return to Srinagar by evening. After breakfast, set off for a day trip to Gulmarg, a world-renowned hill station famous for its scenic meadows and adventure activities. The drive to Gulmarg is a visual delight, with charming villages and rolling fields. On arrival, take a stroll through the flower-filled meadows or visit the 18-hole golf course, the highest in the world. The highlight of the day is the Gondola cable car ride (at your own cost), which takes you to Apharwat Peak. The 8-minute ride offers stunning views of snow-laden peaks and vast landscapes. Enjoy a snowball fight, click photos, and breathe in the crisp mountain air. In the evening, return to Srinagar for dinner and an overnight stay, with an optional houseboat experience on Dal Lake.
